Personal Profile

American Sign Language has been a passion for me since I was an adolescent.  After raising my family and working in a variety of fields, I went back to college to pursue a degree in American Sign Language Interpretation.  Since graduation, I have been actively interpreting in the community in many environments.  For more details regarding work experience, key skills, interpreting environments, and certifications, please download my resume using the link below.

Education

2022-2023

William Woods University

I am currently enrolled at William Woods University in the Interpreter Studies, ASL - English, Bachelors Degree program. I am curranty holding a 4.0 GPA and am expected to graduate December 2023. I am also a member of the ASL Honor Society.

2017-2019

Oklahoma State University 

I hold an AS in American Sign Language and an AAS in American Sign Language Interpretation. While attending, I was a member of the Deaf and Hearing Social Club.

1994-1997

American Sign Language Interpreters School of Seattle

I obtained a certificate of Interpretation and completion.  While attending, I was active in volunteering with the Washington State Deaf-Blind Association and the Community Service Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
